Oppo F21 Pro and F21 Pro 5G announced with 64MP lens

Oppo had just launched two sets of phones into the market, the Oppo F21 Pro and the F21 Pro 5G. Oppo actually rebranded the popular camera-centric smartphone, the Oppo Reno 7 into the F21 Pro, while the latter (F21 Pro 5G) was a rebrand of Oppo Reno 7 Z 5G.

Both devices are equipped with 6.43 inch AMOLED displays with FHD+ resolution alongside a conventional 60Hz refresh rate which is decent.

The F21 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 680 while the F21 Pro 5G runs on Snapdragon 695. Both variants house 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be further expandable via microSD.

Oppo F21 Pro and F21 Pro 5G

Oppo F21 features quite an absolute Fiberglass-leather design, while the latter gets a frosted glass back design. Moving to the camera specifications, F21 Pro is equipped with a 64MP primary lens + 2MP microscope lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.

On the F21 Pro 5G, users get a 64MP primary lens + 2MP monochrome sensor, and a 2MP depth-sensing lens. On the front of the Oppo F21 Pro is a Sony IMX709 32MP selfie camera, while on the F21 Pro 5G is a 16MP selfie camera.

Both devices are powered by 4,500 mAh batteries accompanied by a 33W fast charging technology, and both devices run on Android 12 with ColorOS 12 skin on top.

The F21 Pro will go on sale in the month of April or later for about 135,000 Naira (approximately $300), while the F21 Pro 5G is expected to be priced at 160,000 Naira (approximately $355).

Oppo also announced its Enco Air 2 Pro wireless headphones with active noise cancellation and 12.4mm drivers. These will be available soon for 25,000 Naira which is approximately $56.
