Umidigi had just launched the One Max with a waterdrop top-notch display but a design of the Umidigi One and One Pro with a big notch and awesome specs.
The device is one of the cheapest smartphones by Umidigi to feature the wireless charging, equipped with Type-C connector, dual rear camera, a reasonable front camera, large storage, quality performance, and last longing battery.
DESIGN AND DISPLAY

The body of the device is made from aluminum alloy and both the front and back are covered with glass giving the device a premium look and feel but the glass doesn’t reflect with light. Umidigi One Max comes in two colors; purple and blue and weighs 180g with battery.
One Max features a large display size of 6.3-inches with 1520 x 720 pixels display resolution giving it up to 267 PPI (pixel density), still on the screen is a 19:9 aspect ratio resulting in a larger screen to body percent.
The device is equipped with a dual rear camera of a 12MP main camera and 5MP add-on camera with a f/2.0 aperture and an image dimension of 4032 x 3024p. The rear cameras support FHD video recording with a video resolution up to 1080p@30fps, auto-focus, and touch-focus.
In the waterdrop notch is a 16MP front camera with 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture which is still the best you can get from a budget device, a face recognition sensor, Samsung sensor but no room for a flashlight.
This is the first thing I look at in a smartphone before the camera. The performance of Umidigi One Max is a nice one for its phone category and price, it features the MediaTek Helio P23 Octa-core processor clocked at the speed of 2.0Ghz which is pretty a fast one. It is designed with a 64-bit CPU architecture and 16nm FF+ process technology and the chipset is further backed with a 4GB RAM with a memory speed of 1600MHz and 128GB internal memory 😮 which can be further expanded up to 256GB using a memory card.
Gaming on this device is smooth, and so as switching between apps, launching large apps, surfing the internet with many tabs opened e.t.c
POWER, OS, AND OTHERS
Umidigi is powered by a large 4,150mAh Lithium Polymer battery which is non-removable and it supports a 15W wireless fast charge technology and a PE+ 18W fast charging technology with 9V/2A input, reaching a full bar within 1hr and 30min with a Type-C USB port. The device can last up to 27 hours playing music, 8 hours watching movies and surfing the internet and it runs on a stock Android 8.1 Oreo.
Umidigi One Max is designed just like the One and One Pro, having a side fingerprint sensor, face security system, an NFC for easy payment, a global band and 4G volte i.e both SIM supports 4G simultaneously, plus a TAS 2.0 smart antenna.
