I know you have often thought that SONY smartphones are made in the US or probably owned by a US company, well it is owned by a Japanese company and they just launched another smartphone called Sony Xperia L4 with triple camera design, and a nice display with a waterdrop notch.

The predecessor was launched sometime around September in 2019 (Sony Xperia L3) and it made a good name but not so much, so what we have here is just an upgrade to the Xperia L3. The device is beautifully crafted and it combines some of the features of the Sony Xperia 1 with the Xperia L3 to make a good one out of the Xperia L4.

Talking out the features, we have a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a 1680 x 720p resolution and aspect ratio of 21:9. On the performance of the Sony Xperia L4, it is to run on a MediaTek chipset alongside a 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which supports expansion up to 512GB.

There is a triple camera design on the Xperia L4 which is arranged in a vertical manner and instead of the LED flashlight being placed below, it is now positioned above the lenses. The main camera lens is a 13MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, followed by a 5MP wide-angle camera with a field-of-view of up to 117-degree and lastly, a 2MP depth sensor camera with f/2.4 aperture lens.

From the little info about the specs above, I derived that the Sony Xperia L4 is a budget device that Sony wants to push out to gain more mid-range market audience which will help the company a lot and coming to Africa would really be a big profitable deal for them.
