Check out Google’s new app for organizing and saving important documents, “Stack”

Google has announced that a new useful app is currently available in store. This app gives users the freedom to scan, store, and organize important documents all at a go. The name of his new app is called Stack, which is developed by the company’s Area 120 division — the team behind old apps like Reply and Grasshopper.

Stack’s primary work is to scan documents, the interesting part of it is that it comes with an AI twist. It allows users scan important documents, receipts, or bills using the smartphone camera.

The app also has a feature which allows Google’s language recognition and optical character recognition smarts to name it and suggest its correct category automatically. These categories, obviously called “stacks,” are effectively virtual filing cabinets.

When we talk about ecurity, Stack can be locked with facial recognition or a fingerprint. The app can also save copies of the scanned documents to Google Drive.

Stack can only be found in the US at the moment. There’s no word from Google when the app will be available in other regions. As it’s an experimental app, there’s also no promise that Google will continue to support Stack well into the future.
